Indien bijkomende S. aureus bacteriëmie / sepsis, volg het stroomschema en in principe bij deze diagnose: flucloxacilline iv 1000mg 6dd 14 dagen
Let op: bij een vermoeden óp of een geregistreerde antibiotica-allergie is het vaak niet nodig het middel of de klasse te vermijden. Zie de pagina Antibiotica-allergie voor een risico-inventarisatie en alternatieven bij allergie.
Beta-lactam: indien mogelijk continu doseren, voorafgegaan door oplaaddosering.
