*Vanwege een hogere relapse rate bij behandeling met echinocandines dan bij behandeling met triazolen, adviseert de Clinical Practice Guideline for the Management of Candidiasis: 2016 Update by the Infectious Diseases Society of America om een dubbele dosis echinocandine te geven (anidulafungine 200 mg 1dd1).
